Throughout Candace Lynn’s writing career, she conducted extensive research into arcane topics like Atlantis and Edgar Cayce. She devoured metaphysical texts that included the Seth books and The Spear of Destiny.

In 1986 Candace Lynn partnered with the woman who became her wife, Jana L. Simons, to launch a school. The Sattva Institute was devoted training people to recognize and use their four soul senses. It also offered clients intuitive counseling and Sunan storyhealing to heal emotional and spiritual wounds.

Out of this partnership, Candace Lynn co-authored with Jana one nonfiction book about emotional and spiritual healing.

Candace Lynn and Jana coauthored a second nonfiction work about afterlife communication to ease grief.

Jana also trained Candace Lynn in Sunan storyhealing as well as other people at the Sattva Institute.
